Install an Internal HDD

Hi, and firstly sorry if this has been covered I did check in as many places as I could but did not find the answers I am looking for.

I have two HDD's for the PH one is on order and is a WD EXT 500GB HDD USB which I assume will work fine. But I figured I would not be able to use the bitclient with an external HDD so will need an internal one.

I have a Hitachi 2.5" Travelstar 5K80 40GB 5400RPM ATA 8MB (P/N 08K0637) Model:HTS548040M9AT00 and cant work out how to install it.

I purchased a 3.5" to 2.5" ribbon cable converter but it fits the HDD but the other end is female and the PH connector is also female, so no joy there. To me that seems very strange and I would have expected the raw pins sticking up from the mobo.

How are people connecting 2.5" drives into these things???

you have got the wrong converter, there are others in the market with the correct male\female combination.
