What happened to Cardea DRM?
I see Cardea DRM is no longer listed in the specifications. What happened to it? Is it possible to get it working again with older firmware?

RE: What happened to Cardea DRM?
Doesn't look like it will be coming v.soon but it is still hoped that it may as for some customers, USA in particular having DRM is a requirement for premium services such as Netflix.
Search for DRM gives:-
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...hlight=DRM

Search for Netflix MSP plugin as DRM is discussed there.

RE: What happened to Cardea DRM?
Pity, I was hoping it is still possible to get DRM somehow. I have a client that is looking for 5000+ units but they need a system with DRM functionality :/

RE: What happened to Cardea DRM?
Chances are the new model might be too expensive to be worthwhile. Which is the nice thing about the A-110, it comes at a very good price. Now if only we can do something to get that DRM going *wink wink, nudge nudge* Smile

RE: What happened to Cardea DRM?
Quick question. I'm not very informed on how DRM works etc., but I'd like to know whether you get more than one kind of DRM and if they are interoperable. For example if hardware/firmware supports Cardea DRM (Microsoft), does that mean it will also support another type of DRM such as the open platform one from SecureMedia (CA/DRM) or do they work on a completely different system?
