That's good to hear. I'm not even in the position to buy anything else, i've sunk too much money into my new TV and surround sound, i'm just eager due to my geeky tenancies.

I think most of us on here understand that the delay is well out of your hands and that you are probably far more frustrated by it than anyone else.

Hopefully it's worth the wait, and you can enjoy unveiling 'your baby' soon.

Hopefully its an NMT with a 60mm PWM fan that have a great looking case like the HDX1000 or Egreat, one of the things about the PCH is the crummy looks, i have mine hidden away out of sight. Not to mention a newer chip which supports more processing and more RAM, at least 1GB. New interface too, if the old interface still exists it will be a letdown. Hopefully its for under $200. Im hoping to see a better firmware platform so useless things are not bundled in with the firmware like bittorrent, usenet, casgle UPNP AV server NFS server. If users want those things installed it could be a standalone install.

Im looking to replace my A-100s with something with a little more punch. Hopefully the wait is worth it.
Is there some kind of trade in program cause im willing to trade in my A100 if i can get like 25%-50% of its value applied to another model unit.

Ebay prices make sense because of the whole import issue, you have to pay import taxes etc. plus some people aren't keen on importing products.

As for werner, I really think you should send that unit to me, needs another opinion

With regards the GUI/interface firstly I hardly use the xisting GUI on the A100 so doubt that I will end up using it on the new model. It's really the spec that's important as there are users who love to produce the GUI/interface changes. To me the most important areas are those that the users cannot do anything about, hardware primarily but also container/codec issues.

From Day1 it has been said that it will compliment the A110 so it will certainly be more expensive if it has better spec and is to compliment the A110. Therefore expecting it to be $200 when the A110 is $210 does not fit with anything we have managed to gleam. The A110 is the value end of the range with a small ugly off the shelf case. I expect the new model to fit more into the AV enthusiast's expectations, perhaps even a proper HiFi style case rather than some of these pig ugly boxes such as the latest Conceptronic.

In the squeezebox (wireless music) range, if we ignore the duet and boom, the squeezebox classic is around £180, the complimentary addition to the range for the audiophile is the transporter which is >£1000.

Could we maybe see an AV enthusiasts version for big $$$'s?

I doubt it. But maybe it will be something along those lines.

As chris says, expecting something cheaper than the A-110 isn't going to happen especially if you are asking for more along with that request.
