preorder question

Do we know when they are going to catch up and there will be no preordering?
I'm the kind of guy that would rather order it when they are available to ship.

I think the same way you do. My opinion is that there never was a shortage and that it is a marketing/sales ploy. Invent demand by creating the illusion that there is a shortage; combine that with a tantalizingly low price and wha la you have a buying frenzy! We gullible consumers fall for it every time.

Actually the price is not that low; they are not exactly giving it away, but it is lower than some media extenders.

I think the low price without the ploy would have been a better strategy. Speaking for myself I would have probably bought one long ago if I could have simply ordered one while at their site. Well now that I know it has a number of bugs to be worked out I guess I am lucky that they chose the strategy they chose!

[PH] I wish this is the case, but it is NOT. Just the demand keeps surprise us and we need to keep adjust the production volume. However, it takes two months to prepare from forecast to unit roll out from production.

some where you guys mentioned you are ramping up production starting in march...

How much did you guys ramp up, or how many units do you produce monthly?

Just a suggestion but it might help to keep your website more up to date in regards to the shortage. It would also be nice to simply allow people to pre-order.

I'm just curious about the production/pre-order ratios. This thing has been high in demand since December so I'm assuming they've been amping up production since then yet people are still on huge waiting lists. I know I'll never see it and but I'm very curious about seeing a graph showing production/orders. I'm betting they're both growing exponentialy though.

Is it possible to order 2 units when your preorder window comes up? I placed an order for 2 and just had my order canceled. Can someone help me out?

[PH] Sorry about we cannot disclose the production volume quantity. The currently ramp up volume intend to clear up sign-up list in April.

I think like someone already stated, keeping the main site up to date would greatly be appreciated.
