RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hello,
I'm new to mpdjb, it's work fine except i've got one problem. I didn't now how to quit this application properly... After playing mp3, i'm leaving by pressing the source button, then i come back to the Hard disk drive folder. But, after that, when i'm selecting a video for example, the popcorn doesn't work, i've got blck screen and i've to reboot it il order to see the video. thanks a lot for your help, Thierry |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hi,
Does anyone else have an issue with the photo slideshow where vertical pictures are being corrupted, whereas horizontal pictures are ok? If I view the photos directly on the popcorn via the folderstructure then the all the pictures are ok. Likewise, if I press 'play' on a folder, then the auto-generated playlist displays a slideshow of the photos ok. I though it might be a MPD memory corruption issue, but the above is true with or without MPD playing music. Thanks, |

Read through the thread if you like. Everyone has that problem except a few with special Jedi knowledge, and they aren't sharing. I'm still subscribed to this thread hoping that some day someone will share with us mere mortals how to use this application. (Apparently it has something to do with the MPD license.) |

Music playing and browsing is excellent. My only gripe is vertical pictures during a the photo slideshow that get corrupted. Not been able to track down why - the MJBJB PHP looks as if its encrypted and so can't even hack about in there. Re: Memory corruption , see this thread, post #37. http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...854&page=3 Embedded covers not directly supported. I use MP3TAG to extract the artwork to a folder.jpg file. |

I also think that ... is was one of the main reasons i bought a-110 is the music support provided by mpd+mpdjb ![]() About memory corruption my understand is that the only solution is "change the ramdac in the mpd.conf file from 0 to 1" and pray that works ? Some questions for the ones that have this working,
About embbeed covers i had tip joblo10 with php sample code If i get to setup everthing running i will try this php code ... Another step will be to write a tutorial "how to full setup MPD" ![]() Regards |

(11-09-2009 05:53 PM)ChunkyBits Wrote: Hi, Looks like my vertical picture corruption is due to a missing 'Orientation=1' tag in the EXIF data. Adding this (using http://www.kiwiczech.net/index.php?menu=357&sub=8) displays the photo correctly for slideshow.jsp playlists, and also when viewing manually. So looksl like its a PCH bug rather than MPD/MPDJB. |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Now i managed to install MPDJB to PH.
My next part is to update my music folders. When i go to MPDJB setup page i am told: Server: N/A Port: N/A Path to music libery: N/A Playlist folder: N/A When i press go to "Update MDP Libery" i am told that MDPJB is "updating". Now is has been updating for 5 hours without anything happening. Is this normal? My musik is located on internal harddisk called hard_disk in PH. Is there somewhere in a config file i should do some settings telling where my "root" music folder is located. All my music is offcourse in "music" folder. Subfolders are: U2, Elvis Presley ect. In these folders i have the CD´s. E.g. in the U2 folder i have folders: Achtung Baby, Boy, Zooropa ect. Is this structure wrong? |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hello,
Experiencing a similar problem to the "have to reboot to be able to play a video file" I have to reboot the PCH after playing a video file to be able to get any sound playing a file through the MPD JB |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Thanks to everyone here, my PCH is now just as useful for music as it is for movies. This mpdjb+mpd rules!
Once enhancement request, a way to get out to my main index on the root of my PCH. I run a main index which jumps to YAMJ, MPDJB, Photos, etc. So a configurable path, say for the HOME button, would be great in the config file. YAMJ uses HOME to go to the main YAMJ index, but pressing it again from there is a configurable path. I can just source source and go from there, but that's too much to ask the wife and kids. |
