RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Dear all,
I had to re-install mpd and MPDJB on my A-110 because of a harddisk crash. MPD is running and I can access it via gnome music player client. MPDJB shows only the number of files and the playing time but not folders, artists, ... I can only use start all and it plays, but I cannot browse my files. It seems that the "communication between mpdjb and mpd is not okay. Please help Lenny |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
I've installed MPDJB succesfully and it running great on my C200. Thanks for spending the effort of building this and sharing it with all of us.
I do not know if this Application is still under development but I would want to post an enhancement request here. I operate my MPD jukebox from all kind of different devices: my Iphone (MPoD), Android tablet (Droid MPD client), PC (Gnome Music Player Client) and now thus also directly from my PCH C200 (MPDJB). I would be great when the interface of MPDJB would refresh when an action is done with another device. For example when I skip to the next song with my Iphone I would want to see the updated info in my MPDJB interface also. On the main screen as well as on the song-details screen. It already wordt vv, when I skip to the next song in MPDJB, my Iphone interface is updated immediately. I ran through the php code and can grasp the main idead with my limited knowledge of php, but I have no clue what to change to make it happen. I guess there has to be a loop somewhere that keeps polling the mpd service whether there are changes or not. Thanks in advance. |

RE: [MUSIC] MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
I am having problems getting MPDJB to work on my C200.
The music files are all stored on the internal hard drive under /share/Music. MPD is working fine. I can control it via mpc over telnet or using GMPC on a Windows PC. When I start MPDJB it shows 5289 titles in the top left. It will even show and update the current playing song if there is one started by another client. However, there is nothing listed under Folders, Artists, Albums, Genres and Playlists. I have edited the mpdjb.conf for the correct albumart_filename, port and host. I have tried updating the database. I have tried reinstalling MPDJB. MyiHomeServer is started. Has anyone seen this error before or have any suggestion how to resolve it? |
