Hello and problems with PCH A-100

Hello.

I'm a new user with a lot of problems with this gadget.

First, sorry for my bad English....

I have connected my PCH with my local network via ethernet and router Zyxel HW660-61. Local IP static and wired network.
The firmware installed is from march-14.
I installed a internal IDE HD, and formatted and installed the NMT applications via internet.
The computer has a WinXP Home SP2.
Access to this internal HD Ok.
Access to Internet Ok.
Access with other computers via myiHome OK.
ftp unable to log in with the user "ftpuser" and password "ftpuser", or "ftpuser" "1234" or "1234" "1234".
Access to shared resources from PCH to computers in the same windows workgroup Ok. I can see the resources of the computers connected, and play the files.
Access to internal HD from computers in the same windows workgroup unstable and very slow. Lost the conection with the internal HD constantly, and is unable to copy files from/to PCH.

To put your mind at rest the FTP logins are: ftpuser and password: 1234 as you have the latest firmware.
What are you using for FTP transfer and how often to the connections get lost? For example are you using flashfxp and you lose connection every 30 mins. Post the log from the FTP client.

On the shares front it is slow the transfer between the PCH and other computers. You should get around 4-5mb/s via FTP/SMB.

Please give the setup of your network and PCH. Are you using gigabit switches, jumbo frames, etc.

I use the ftp command in win XP DOS window.
The problem isn't with ftp, because I cant connect. My problem is that I can't reach the PCH HD in winXP connecting devices.

I think the problem is in my winXP, because I test the smb connection with Ubuntu linux and PCH and everything OK.

Hmmm.... try using FileZilla for FTP with ftpuser/1234 and report back. Make sure your firewall/router is not blocking the connection.
