UMC - nfo / xml file

I have a movie that is not recognized. I have been reading on the german UMC site that you can create a xml file.

I created the file with notepad and named it exactly like how the movie is named: five fingers - xvid.xml

in this xml I have the following code:

then I changed the scan type in the "umc-config.xml" from 0 to 3 and I did the reset.bat and then umc.exe. It finished in 0 seconds. A bit to fast I gues. Am I doing something wrong?

Right, you have to name it exactly like the filename of the movie is named, but with the Pattern [Movie]!

Have you made an own library for the xml files?
With ScanType 3 UMC is just scanning for xmls!

my own library? no. I thought I just change the scantype from 0 to 3. or is that not working, do I have to make my own library. I assume you mean that you can make 2 or more library's in the "umc-config.xml" file with different scantype?

but what is the use of different library's if the library that I use has scantype 0, wich searches everything?
