running UMC scanner without gui
I'm trying to get UMC to work on a dedicated NAS (Just a simple FreeBSD distro on it).
But, it doesn't have a gui (eg. X) and it looks like it's needed by the umc scanner; i'm getting a lot of errors on X11 related libraries which can't be found. My question is, is there some commandline switch i can use to prevent a gui being displayed? As far as i can see the 'gui' for the umc scanner is just a fancy logscreen that should be readable in a shell as well. Please read the A-Series or C-200 FAQ before posting, you may save time and find your answer |
