I think you need a newer version of YAMJ, since there was a problem when imdb changed some things. The text is probably not aligned properly due to the code showing up above it

Now im getting small posters for some of the movies (way less than 485x720). I've set the poster scanner to scan impawards first, but that didn't help.

Give me a few movies you had it search for and I'll see what's up. It's possible that IMPAwards doesn't have a high resolution poster for that movie or the scraper isn't getting the right image (not that I know how the scraper works).

Edit: Actually, for the new release of this skin, if you're following the directions and using it right, the downloaded poster resolution shouldn't matter. The skin will stretch it to fill the poster window -- it won't look 100% sharp, but it'll do it.

Edit #2: I take that back. To be honest, I forgot to test out what will happen with smaller posters and it's highly possible the code isn't stretching it out. Regardless, tell me the movies you've having issues with and I'll take a look. I'll try to release another update soon.

I also meant to ask you to give me some movies where it does work. I'm testing out these movies now and it's only grabbing them from IMDb even though impawards is the only one on the list. Do the posters for these movies look like they came from IMDb?

Alright, here's what I found out. First of all, in which file did you specify the "poster.scanner.SearchPriority"?

If you did it in the moviejukebox-ori.properties file, then this is the wrong file, because this is where I put "impawards" up front and I still got the same results you did.

You need to put that line in the moviejukebox.properties file, save it, then make that file Read-only. Delete previously generated movies/posters files for those it got wrong.

This is the line I put in:

poster.scanner.SearchPriority=impawards

It got posters exclusively from IMPAwards, and for any posters it couldn't find (like 300, for some reason), it just used a that default "missing poster" image.

I also tried moviedb exclusively and that worked like a charm. You can put both on the list. In fact, I would only put on impawards and moviedb. Maybe make moviedb first because that site is truly dedicated to high resolution images, and impawards doesn't always host the high resolution version.

So try this code in the moviejukebox.properties file:

and make it read-only. I think you'll have better luck with that.

I modified the wrong properties file, moviejukebox-ori.properties.

I have the moviejukebox.properties file open, but there isn't a "searchPriority" line of code. Is that something I add to it?
