While i thought i checked it appears i missed a php extension (sockets). I've added that to the build and btpd is now working properly for me. Please update lighttpd to -nmt6 through CSI and let me know if its working for you.

Had an idea that may work. On the 'Upload and Install' screen there is a bit of free space. You could check the xml to see if the web or gaya web paths use port 9999. If the application does use the CSI webserver and lighttpd is not installed then add a bit to the dialog with a checkbox or something to inform the user of lighttpd and allow them to install it as well after their package installs

One more request. The current version of lighttpd compiled with libxslt?. It will really helpful for the Dynamic Jukebox which I am working right now.

I compiled this in(assuming u mean xsl support compiled into php) and built the package. I have loaned my nmt out again though so for the next couple weeks i am unable to test any builds.

I've uploaded lighttpd-1.4.19-nmt7.zip but will need someone else to verify its all proper before i change the CSI to this version.

Verifying should be simple just:
install the package, check that the web server is alive on port 9999,
open up the apc page(http://popcorn:9999/lighttpd_web/apc.php) and make sure apc is enabled.
From a shell run `/share/Apps/lighttpd/bin/php -m` and verify the list of compiled in modules includes xsl.

I only made minor tweaks to daemon.sh to accomidate the extra libraries so i think this should work first try but always good to know

I have installed lighttpd 1.4.19-nmt6 and opened through http://popcorn:9999/lighttpd_web/apc.php. APC info is there. I can read there's a new version to install APC 3.1.3 ?

lighttpd-1.4.19-nmt7.zip isn't working completely correct here.
When I open a page nothing happens, it will remain waiting.

netstat -lpt showed lighttpd is started on port 9999 though.

Opening apc.php or any application will just stall (waiting for host...).
Reverted back to nmt6 and all is fine again.

I had to desinstall lighttpd 1.4.19-nmt6 because I could not more download with NZBget.
after the desinstallation downloading was oké.
I had the message : Connection to my1. newsserver. com failed: ErrNo 145, Connection timed out !

Also it looks like a library is missing:

Could you check that /share/Apps/lighttpd/lib contains libexslt.so.0 ? i double checked the .tar and it has libexslt.so.0.8.3, with a symlink from libexslt.so.0. If that file exists, look in /lib to see if the symlinks were created, there should be a symlink in /lib for each *.so* file in /share/Apps/lighttpd/lib

I'm thinking theres got to be some small issue in the loop that creates these symlinks, but its not jumping out at me. The shell script looks like:

and at the time thats run PWD is /share/Apps/lighttpd/

As long as the original lighttpd remains in the repository I am fine
New CSI depends on the "lighttpd" name now and will notify users to install it for better performance.
