NZBget download speeds
i recently setup nzbget all working fine apartp for ssl(pretty sure i know how to fix this) but my speeds are no where near what i can get on my PC on the box itself i will only download at 1400kb/s whereas on my PC i will download at 5400kb/s so as you see its a huge differnce, i tryed changing the number of connections between 4 and 10 no change. any help greatly appricated thanks

RE: NZBget download speeds
sure but when i am used to speeds of 5400kb/s it is very slow for me
i tryed transfering stuff from my PC to the PCH but that was slow so thought this would be a faster option, so now i am unsure of the best way to get things onto the PCH harddrive.

To give you some insight: the nmt has a general purpose lower power cpu of around 300mhz. That cpu will be used for anything except for decoding video material, it has a dedicated media processor for that. Because of this limited cpu perfomance the NMT cannot reach the maximum out of your bandwith. For some better results do not use a SSL news server, that will lower the cpu load a bit. 1500 seems to be the max that the NMT can reach because of the limited performance of the generic purpose cpu. Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |
