fit-PC Slim powerful enough for myihome?
I think this small box would be perfect for running myihome headless. It meets the minimum requirements listed for RAM (512MB), and has an AMD processor.

Would this box be suitable?

The specs:

CPU: AMD Geode LX800 500MHz
Chipset: AMD CS5536
Display: Integrated Geode LX display controller up to 1920x1440
Memory: 512MB DDR 333MHz soldered on-board
Hard disk: Upgradeable 60GB IDE 2.5"
Ports:
RJ45 Ethernet port 100Mbps
WiFi b/g 54Mbps
3 x USB 2.0 HiSpeed 480Mbps
mini RS-232 (Rx,Tx)
VGA DB15
Stereo line-out audio (headphones)
Stereo line-in audio / Mic

There is a newer version running an Atom processor, but it's a bit pricey (well, more than I care to spend).

RE: fit-PC Slim powerful enough for myihome?
On myiHome webpage, it says:

System requirements
- Intel Pentium 233(MHz) or higher processor;
Pentium III recommended
- Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista 32bit,
Vista 64bit or Mac OS X or Linux
- 512MB of RAM
- 100MB of available hard disk space

So, you box should be alright. Smile

Looks like a great box. Given that it has wifi and ethernet, you may even consider using a hub/switch or a crossover cable and using it as a bridge for your main NMT as well.

I'm guessing you're going to add a few USB hard drives to it?
