how do you map a network drive
I know ZERO about linux .. and reading through the lil jukebox ... there is a step where there is media location variables ... and then locate tab ...
I know the ip addy of the a110 is 10.0.1.2 which is what i input ... but the file string ... i dont understand what is needed. I have mapped the NMT as a z drive ... then in my video folder i have subcategories ... bluray, adult, tv series, and SD movies Im using vista home premium 64 .. have permissions turned off ... going through a time capsule (where I also have movies stored) I havent mapped the time capsule ... but as allans instructions say .. worry about getting it running first ..then add more .. so would someone be kind enough to explain or point me in the right direction on the proper file string? |

RE: how do you map a network drive
thank you spector ... i guess i mean when manually specifying a folder on the popcorn hour ... what is the path if the file is titled videos/bluray and the popcorn hour is mapped as Z:
is there a driver to see the popcorn hour as simply an attached drive? |

RE: how do you map a network drive
Not sure what you want, if you have already mapped the PCH as Z:, selecting Z: in My computer will show you the folders\files on it, no need for drivers. Drivers are required if you want to connect via usb between PC and PCH.
If your wondering about what the path on the PCH is to the internal HDD then its file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/ |
