Your last remark: "I note that there is no smp86xx_plugin.so in my Apps/mpd/plugins directory (just a READ.ME file)" confirms that the required audioplugin has not been installed. This comes from the second tar-file "MPDAudioPlugin" this also contains the properly configured mpd.conf. I would suggest you untar this second tar-file by hand if you are comfortable in doing so and put all the files in the proper place by hand using a terminal connection. You could check where they have to go by their folder name used in the install.sh script. If you're not comfortable doing it by hand I would suggest you wait till Shadowcode has figured out where his install script fails. - aleg (11-26-2009 03:18 AM)ebag4 Wrote: Question, I have a DAC that accepts USB, Coax and Toslink. I have installed the file that allow me to output the music via Toslink, if I want to try the USB output do I have to remove the mpdaudioplugin or is there a easier way to allow the USB output of the nmt to work? Ed Where have you read there is a USB-Audio output available?
