NMT applications on an USB-stick?
Hello,
In order to run NMT applics on the PCH (A-100), I have to use an internal harddisk. The problem with the HD is that it still starts spinning eventhough the PCH on on standby (latest firmware version) Is it possible to use an usbstick for that? So take out the hd, connect the usb-stick, format it and install the NMT programs on it? This would reduce the noise, save energy (no spinning disk) and is less warmer.

the wiki has a guide
![]() http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...stallation as for the HDD spinning, turn off any apps you don't use, mainly torrent and casgle, as these will keep the HDD spinning. |

Hello Gibbo,
Stopping the unused NMT-applications prevents the HDD from spinning. Thanks for the tip! |
