Consolidate drives - the simple way ?

Hi all, i have 3 different drives i use for media, internal, USB, and on my PC. Question is are there any simple ways just to consolidate my films from all drives into one alphabetical list ?

i dont really need any covers, or descriptions, just plain ol' text :-)

also ideally it would be nice if it could run off the popcorn direct...

If you have any programming experience, you could easily write a small program (or even a script) to traverse the media locations on your drives and build an HTML page with the file names (and of course, links to start them).

you don't need covers or you don't want covers?

something like dynamic YAMJ or oversight would do it and would get you covers etc. Of course YAMJ would do it but would need to be built on the PC and then would run off the popcorn directly.

kryzchek i have some experiancing in programming but not much, nothing i couldnt learn though ;-) ideally was looking for something out the box.

Gibbo, im actually using oversight now, but more often than not i end up browsing movies through the popcorn default, i suppose i havnt spent enough time tweaking it the way i want. Problem is i seemed to spend more time changing names, etc just to get the covers picked up so i thought it would be easier just to list my files all on one page.

Well i decided to pick up the oversight again, renamed all my files correctly..and decided that is probably the best way. All good, thanks for the advise.

Hi, Also feeding back on the kind of name changed you had/have to make , helps me to improve Oversights detection.

Well the issue i was getting was that the ART was not been picked up on some of my movies, so i decided to change the file names to what is on IMDB. This has helped but im still getting some movies not showing up. Rather than raise this as an issue i want to learn properly how Oversight works, just reading through all your posts, so i know what im doing before i start asking 100s of questions :-)
