Delay Updates
Any update on if any of the delayed C200 batches actually shipped? One piece of info missing from the sticky thread about ship dates is "If you placed your order between these two dates, you are in batch #___"

Expect this is intentional because your QC is weak and you really don't know how many devices you will receive. I would hope that someone in Popcorn Hour fixes your online sales for the next releases and hires someone that is better at being proactive at updating customers about their order. It is unbelievable that the customer, after doing all this research on a device and places an order, has to continue to research to find out when the device will ship. Not getting that warm fuzzy I would expect from a professional organization!

By reading your post i do not think any one will have any idea what device you are talking about.

If that thread do not provide the information you seek, contach PCH sales by sending them an email from your google order page.

If you just ordered your device yesterday i do not think you will get it for christmas.

Also the QC control is not really week, the delays were actualls the QC process in the pannels, if it was weak there would have been an uproar of users on the forums complaining that they received defective or inferior built products Big Grin

Seems like you have either come to cause trouble or are uninformed and have made erroneous assumptions.

The reason why there were delays was due to QC. First repackaging the C200 to stop damage to the front LCD in transit, and then secondly to stop poorly finished metal edges reaching the customer. Also what is the rubbish with regards 2 PCH models being delayed, more rubbish?

This is NOT the place to start saying things like 'Your QC is weak..' as we do not work for PCH or have any connection to PCH, we are simply NMT owners trying to help each other get the best from our players.
You are welcome to join in on that basis but telling us that we have QC etc. is missing the mark completely.

Chris, while I welcome anyones input, I have to remind you what they say when you point a finger at someone, you have three pointing back at yourself. I did not come here to cause trouble or to say "PCH BEEP," as you assert, but it would seem you are quick to jump in to create controversy.
Secondly, I can read the posts, and they are great, they tell me why there are delays, very accepting of that information. The reason I posted is that it is difficult to translate data to figure out which batch we purchasers fall in. Therefore there is a flaw in the information, which in turn is a quality control issue. If you relax and read my post, I mention nothing about QC of the product, that is obvious in other postings. In your haste to undermine my QC comment, you missed the point of my original post with the assumption that QC is only applicable to a product and not information. And lastly, when you say:

then you need to ask PCH to stop referring customers here for update and create their own forums in order to communicate product delays, product releases and so on.

Just note, I am in no way trying to offend anyone, and only want information. Please do not turn me into a bad guy because I made an observation. That is truly unfair.

This is what I asked them

If i was to order the c-200 today(October 15th, 2009). could i get an estimate of when it might ship out?

and their reply

Currently C-200 are in backordered status. If you place the order now we
estimate to ship it on November time.

agreed. Sent them an email asking for shipping status. Too bad they don't inform you when you order. I only found out because of this thread.

Oh well I will say a prayer and hope for the best.

But after Christmas would be somewhat "crazy" that's almost a 3 month wait. Or over a fiscal 1/4. Smile
