Postage costs to the UK
Hi lucky UK PCH owners,
how much were you charged to SHIP to the UK (not including customs). I'm considering a IStarHD over the PCH, simply because they are available! Cheers Rich 17xxx & still waiting :-( |

Including shipping and DHL charges it comes to approx £140.

It seems a matter of luck whether or not you have to pay any duty or VAT (or DHL's admin fees for collecting). I received my PCH over a month ago and so far I have only had to pay the original US$224 (£112). I guess I was lucky this time. In the past I have had to pay when importing electronic items.
[EDIT 30th May'08] GRRR! Spoke too soon. DHL just sent me an invoice (only took them just over 3 months). :twisted: So no duty but UK VAT and DHL's admin charge - total extra £21.35. Could have been worse I suppose. |
