sorry, but i read this series of post and i don't understand what is wrong and right in your mind with folder structure

- if you create you menu under the photos folder , then at the second pass, this folder will be scanned as a all the other subfolder , except if you specify in the MJB tag to skip this folder.

- if you create a menu folder at the same level than the photos folder, the problem will not exists

- for photos which load MP3, as i told you, generaly mp3 loader is quicker to start than photo screenvier on the PCH , so if photo and MP3 are parametered to play together you could think that the photo start mp3 loader

carefull: if you did changed the structure of folder inside of MJB , select delete Html first , be get rid of problem.
