RE: No longer access to CSI installed apps. CSI not working either
@lappe
I use CSI on OSX 10.5.8 without issues, apart from the mono gui quirks of course. Consider a clean re-install of CSI: exactly what version did you install? - Make sure you d/l the right one from nmtinstaller.com and don't use a previously downloaded installer. If you have telnet on your NMT, poke around and see if anything funny is going on. Here are some longshots: - check the user:group permissions on the share/Apps/: ls -al /share/Apps They should be nmt:nmt - use top command to see what happens when you attempt to use the CSI. Not sure what to look for, possibly FTP server activity. - can you start CSI Gaya manually? If you have that installed already, that is... Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. Wiki. Wiki? RE: No longer access to CSI installed apps. CSI not working either
It is not the connection from OSX that is the problem. Neither OSX NOR windows versions of CSI can access the PCH. And the apps on the PCH do not work either.
Unfortunately I have no knowledge of Telnet But I do think something is has screwed up on the software side of the PCH. However I have so much data on it I can't afford to lose and no space to put it temporary if I need to format the drive.

You can reinstall NMT apps without deleting the media content, I believe it's called "Typical install".

I tried that, but it didn't help with regards to the CSI apps problems...

Another thing to try: make a firmware update/re-flash on the NMT, that should take take of any quirks on the NMT part.
There are instructions and details on the wiki. Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. Wiki. Wiki? Wiki! |

RE: No longer access to CSI installed apps. CSI not working either
Post contents of file apps/appinit/appinit.cgi here.
Remove the apps/appinit folder and reboot the nmt. Use csi to install an application. Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |

O what the hell...
I did as you suggested: Removing the AppInit folder, install some app through CSI and reboot the PCH... All my apps are back, no re-install necessary. Brilliant! ![]() Thanks again! |

Hope it helps fix whatever the bug is. Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">I'll go remove the folder as you've suggested and report back on progress. EDIT: Actually looking at that code, whats that Thomson Gateway malarky? Thats my router error page (i think), does that mean my connection dropped just as CSI was um...doing something? |

Correct. Instead of diwnloading the correct file your router replced it with an error page Remove the folder appinit and try again.
