Audio is breaking in MKV file
Hi,

I have d/l an mkv file with dual audio, but the first track audio is not prodicuing any sound, second track is working fine. I tried it from my Windows Vista PC, both audios are fine, i also remuxed it using MKVToolnix, and then the first audio track started to produce breaking sound. What is wrong?

RE: Audio is breaking in MKV file
to complete the picture, i am using HDMI to an Onkyo 606 receiver then HDMI to LG 42" LCD.

The funny thing is that i tried to extract the first audio (AC3 2 channels arabic) in a a separate audio file, and it works great in the C-200.....

RE: Audio is breaking in MKV file
Update:

When i demuxed the audio stream, it's duration is less than the video stream, which might mean that while muxing, the MKV file is instructed to do a stretch to match the sound with the video, does this make sense? May be the PCH can not handle proporly this time stretch....

any thoughts?

Hady
