RE: Youtube Discussion
I don't know what it takes to get thru to the devs and especially Syabas management but better PlayOn support is a no-brainer here for so many reasons...

I would really like to see iPlayer, 4OD, ITV Catch Up etc etc etc - That would make the C-200 absolutely awesome!!! Spotify, meta cafe etc would also be brillaint

RE: Youtube Discussion
Voddler support would of course be great, maybe that was already posted in this thread though.

RE: Youtube Discussion
Most (if not all) of these are already on PlayON. Do a search at:
http://www.playonplugins.com/

All Syabas has to do is fully support Playon. Let Playon specialize in these services - it's obviously too hard for Syabs to keep up with this stuff - the easy and smart way is just for Syabas to fully support PlayON...

How can I do this with my own private site?

Write a web page that allows you to search/browse Youtube, put it on your web site and then access it from the PCH, by adding the URL of your web page to the PCH web bookmarks.
Mental did it, so he might be able to help you with further details.

We have direct deals with a lot of these guys already...but yes we have people working on getting Play On working on the C-200.

With all due respect, I would say forget about the direct deals. Look what its gotten you with Youtube and Netflix. JUst partner with and perfect Playon and let them worry about it. Looks like a win-win to me..

Well just don't forget the other continents.....
I have several reasons NOT to want playon:
-- Us folks from Europe cannot access any of the premium content that Playon offers. so i am wasting mony just to stream Youtube ('cus thats all that is left)
-- So i bought a standalone mediastreamer and installed a harddisc so i could finally turn of the pc most of the times but now i must install a piece of software ON A PC that , since i can not watch any of the premium content, only allows me to watch Youtube for $40 ????

We're going backwards here ....
Make the Europeans happy and properly support rtsp/mms so we can stream our feeds directly from the contentproviders to our pch's....

I could care less about Youtube on the TV, let alone Playon.

Please don't forget the rest of the world.....

As already mentioned, i'd like a partnership with Dailymotion to replace YouTube.
