Transportstream for NetworkPlayer

On all my dvb satellite recordings the AC3 audiotracks are misinterpreted as DTS. This did not happen before.

yes - I get that with my Firedtv dvb-c HDTV recordings also - but have gotten that on all firmwares.

They are h264/ac3 in .ts stream but audio is reckognised as DTS for some reason and audio drops in and out. Perhaps some kind of error in the headers of the .ts

I usually fix it by remuxing with tsremux or tsmuxer - but would be nice if I didnt have to.

thats easy fixable use the last TSConverter (based on TSMuxer) an user of my forum made that specially for such problems, i´m also in touch with syabas about an solution but it could be that the ts part is sigma code which only can change sigma and i think we all know what that means so better go with TSConverter you can find it here
Today he made an new release and the Remuxing part is very fast it only writes new PAT/PMT and fixes FF, PAUSE,.... bug ....................... and the damn DTS Thing hahahaha

please provide the source code of the TSconvert programs so Apple and Linux users also can fix there media files.

I assume the programs are made in mono so they can be compiled in other environments

The source to TSmuxer (linux version available b.t.w.) would be great.
But reading the Werners Forum it looks like it's based on TSremux which is very different... TSremux is written in Visual Studio .NET C#...

I also have the same issue.

Still no joy with SkyHD H264 1080P .ts files. The latest firmware has made H264 .ts 1080P files playable (without remuxing) but with audio drop outs on the DD track, incorrect black levels, incorrect total time listed, incorrectly listing the DD track as DTS, and no ability to fast forward or skip through the file.

Hopefully it gets fixed one day.

Werner if this fixes these SkyHD files you would of saved me much frustration. Do you know if this program also fixes the incorrect black level issue?

please just try it out you will be happy and it is an fast process so remuxing needs only some minutes also on HD Records!

incorrect black level issue? you mean the black boarders are not really black correct sorry but this is not fixable with an programm and right now i dont know where the problem is is it the sigma code or is it the record from the channel i think the second one but i will see what i or syabas can do on this

With the Black Level I mean that that actual black within the picture as well as the borders is incorrect in that the entire picture appears slightly washed out due to the aforementioned incorrect black levels. Something I think with SkyHD using PC levels Black instead of TV Black levels or vice versa.

I am trying the program now and will let you know how I go.

yes i know that the question is will syabas be able to make the blacklevel darker or is it sigma code where syabas cant get it changed, i will talk with them now it is time again after an stable final

werner- You are right I am very happy. Tried a few H264 SkyHD files that I am having problems with and it fixed most of them

I however had an problem with one that had a DD2.0 track as opposed to a DD5.1 track and TSConverter picked it up as a PCM track and left me with no audio on the file after remuxing. (If you could please pass this feedback onto to Kaba).

Can you pass my thanks onto Kaba as I don't speak german and ask hime if it possible to add a 0IRE and 7.5IRE Black level option to his TSConverter program which may solve the elevated black issue?
