[CSI] Community Software Installer 2.7.2 ** UPDATED DEC 28th **

Hi! After CSI made an automatic update, I am not able to run it anymore. Everytime I try, the computer completely freezes. I run Win XP.

I also tried to download it from the webpage but the same happens.

I experienced similar problem with the previous CSI version but the solution doesn't work this time.

Help appreciated.

Update:
I managed to overcome the problem. It seems I needed to fix the "NMT Community Software Installer.exe.config" file and put in "a-100" instead of "a-110" and replace also ftp password.

Hi,
I just installed the new Firmware for my HDX 1000.
Now CSI (2.6.2) doesn't recognize previously installed apps and isn't able to install apps anymore:
404 Not FoundRequested file not exist! (404 Not Found)
FTP seems to work without problems as it did before.

HDX Firmware Details
Release Date: 4th December 2009
Firmware Version: 50-17-091022-15-HDD-403-000
NMT Apps Version: 00-17-091014-15-HDD-403

Before installing an update I always want to check whether it's really useful to do so. And the Changelog field is always empty in case of Transmission. I suppose this reference could be a good compromise between information and support.

I have same problem after installing new firmware and aps I get the 404 error too....

404 Not FoundRequested file not exist! (404 Not Found)

and the csi program does not show what is already installed on the c-200

Ne clue ??

Use FAQ first, make sure you use the latest CSI version.

i had the samen problem.

it was solved by de-installing the apps and reinstall them again.

some apps keep the 404 message, but hey there are alternatives AND we have patience for new apps releases.

Already on the latest csi version... It worked fine before the firmware update...

Read the faq deleted AppInit installed one app ...

It installed the app.... and Yesss csi back online ....

Ill consider a donation in the near future.

I have the 404-error, and used the FAQ and deleted the AppInit folder.
CSI still not working, and gets the 404-error. Seems like the application is transferred, but when installing, CSI don't find something.
AND, no of the applications installed using CSI work either.

Any help?

Reinstall the NMT Apps via USB (instructions in the FAQ sections).
Delete all foreign folders and files on the NMT's hdd.
It should only contain: Download, Music, Photo and Video.
Reboot and retry.

Make sure you configured the correct hardware type and no firewall, virusscanner, securty software or proxy configured in internet explorer.

could someone tell me how to uninstall the theme installed in CSI
or how to restore to the official default theme

i found there is a "default 1" in the theme tab of CSI, but that is not really the default one, it's a russian version.

Use Extra->Uninstal->Theme in CSI.

I got the cannot connect to NMT FTP error.
Checked the whole FAQ, turned of every firewall (router/pc), reinstalled nmt apps via USB, powerd nmt on/off.

Using IP to connect (connection checked with ftp file transfer).
