- nmt installed to a hard drive: SELECT C200
- nmt installed to a usb thumbdrive: SELECT C200 USB

Where it says PCH-C200, edit the box and type in the ip address of your 300 series player.

Enjoy the apps.

Recently when I start NMT CSI, in the installed box, it is empty. Seems like the software couldn't connect to my A210 via ftp even the ftp server working.

Hello Ger,

I have above mentioned error in my Error log, I have a C-300, In hardware type i flled in A-200. with IP and password, My Samba server and NZB get work just fine, I have the FTP server on, I have all Firewalls off, I rebooted a couple of times, I use microsoft server 2003 with service pack 2, I have the CSI installed on my harddisc of my computer not on the C-300. NMT apps and firmware have the last version, well if i ask to upgrade it says i have the latest version. I'am a bit lost how to get connection so i can start installing the apps, can you help me out?

Okay solved the problem myself, seems that the CSI needs to be installed on the hardisc off the popcorn machine. It now installs software but I can not seem to get it to work. For example I downloaded a different background, it says you have to press the source button on your remote but this does not work. Also installed apple trailers and could get it to work jet, I restarted a couple of times but no succes till now. Maybe because it is for a c-200 and not thye C-300, anybody some ideas?

Ive actaully got the same issue as previous guy; All apps are running (i reinstalled already)
FTP via my ftp client works
Correct IP is entered.
Trying to download and install Locale.
CSI.exe is in a folder in my C: Drive of my PC - installing to PCHA200 USB

Hoping someone can help with this. Trying to install apps to the c200 via nmt and get "Connection error while trying to connect to Networked Media Tank. Please check server settings in Server/Hardware settings in Extra menu. Also make sure you have the ftp server running."

I am able to connect to my c200 and browse the usb stick through windows explorer. I also connect fine when csi launches, the error only comes after selecting the app and trying to install. The ftp server is running. I have tried following the faq and no luck. It seems like others have had similar problems but I cant find a solution. It was all working fine when I had a hard drive in the c200 but I have removed that in favour of a 2gb usb stick as found the hard drive caused a lot of crashing and sometimes had to be removed in order to let the c200 boot. Seeing I have a NAS the hard drive is fairly pointless to me and thought a usb would be better seeing only install apps onto it.

Have also tried to do a clean and a deep clean but get the same error message.

Anyone got any ideas?

I thought that applications could only be installed if you have one hard drive installed on the device.

I have a PCH A300 with the latest firmware; I have a 16GB USB drive in the front USB port on which I have installed the NMT apps and a 2TB internal hardisk formated to NTFS containing Blu-Ray ISO's.

The FTP server is running and I can access it usng an FTP client on my PC. I selected the the Popcorn Hour C200 (USB) in the hardware type box.

Hi,

I have now managed to get CSI to work.

1. Used the IP address of the PCH instead of the name - failed.
2. Tried each hardware type in turn - failed.
3. Reinstalled NMT apps to the hard drive and removed the USB stick - failed.
4. Moved CSI to the root of my C: drive - failed.
5. Run CSI as administrator - success.
   

I then retried at point 4 using A210 hardware option and it still worked, go figure.

I constantly getting crash, when I try to install something from Community Software. The program starts fine, but when I try to install an app, i get i MONO crash.
What do I do wrong?
