Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hi
I wanted to try UMC on my A-110. I have all my movies stored on my WinXP PC, in one share directory that is seen by PCH through NFS share.
The directory is called "yamj" (the one I'm using with YAMJ), and my PC IP is 192.168.1.65, my PCH IP is 192.168.1.66 .
I spent more than 2 hours trying to setup UMC, but I couldn't setup it correctly. I got all movies information on the PC, UMC directory, even with the PDF file, but I do not know how to see them on my PCH, the generated index.html file is not working, on my PC and PCH.
I need to know how to setup UMC, to use the NFS share.

I'm still waiting for any answer, or should I just forget about UMC!!!

UMC generates an UMC folder (see the mediacenter tab when you go to the settings of umc) with all the frontend files. I copy this entiry folder to my PCH in the root.

Hope this will help. I have a harddisk inside the pch so I don't know if this also works for your setup.

No, I don't have an internal HDD.
As I described above, all my movies are stored in my WinXP PC, and I watch them through NFS share, works perfectly ok with YAMJ.

You need an internal drive to store umc on or you can serve it via your PC using Xampp.

Download xampp, run using umc with apache compatible selected and put the produced umc frontend folder in htdocs.

It might feel a little complicated now but its quite easy when you get going. Start by running a new umc scan with apache compatible selected.
When you've done that I will advise what is next.

• Start apache server with Xammp.
• Put the generated UMC folder in htdocs of xampp.

Go to "Web Services"

Create a new one called - UMC
Address - http://192.168.1.65/UMC/index.php?destination=home

Put in user name, password and save.

Select UMC in your Web Services and it should work.

Don't forget to mount your "yamj" share before trying to play something.

Where can I find the "Web Services" ? is it a part of the xampp or winxp? or what I searched, could not find !!
