next month, i delete 10 old movies and have 30 new ones. so at that time, i have 220 movies, some remain, some new, some missing. so anyone could tell me how i could update the list? thanks in advance. |

RE: START HERE: How to install YAMJ
anybody know what the deal is with the DOS window taking 50 years to scan my movies? I only have about 150 files and almost all of them have resulted in an error:
"WebBrowser: Error getting URL http://www.imdb.com/title/blahblah/, Read timed out" I've visited the imbd site, which seems to be working. It has seriously been at it for almost 3 hours. Willing to wait, just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time for an unusable library file that I'll have to rescan. In case it makes a difference, I'm using a W7 PC and collected all the YAMJ directories and mediainfo folder within my YAMJ directory on the PC, but all my movies are on my A400's internall HDD, which is mapped as my Z drive. I used the config tool as follows: Loc of movie directory: Z:\Movies video files are on: NMT Hard Disk (selected SATA_DISK) Loc for jukebox: Z:\ Saved My_Library.xml & My_YAMJ.cmd to the snapshot folder on my pc hard drive. (guide was unclear about that part) PCH A-400 w/ 3TB internal (wired) | W7 PC (wifi) | Airport Extreme | PS3 | Panasonic 65VT50 | Apple TV 3 | iPhone 5 | iPad 4 |

Your firewall/router/internet connection is blocking java from accessing the internet. You need to resolve that before rescanning |

RE: START HERE: How to install YAMJ
Ugh.... I never seem to have anything like this go as planned.
I would think if something is blocking Java, then ALL of them would have timed out. I had to leave it going overnight and didn't have a chance to launch from the PCH before I left for work this morning, but I did check to see if the scan completed (said it took 6 hours for 150 movies!) the DOS window seemed to indicate that there were some that didn't time out. I know i installed both the 64 and the 32 bit versions of Java. (running W7 64bit OS). I even ran the check from their website to ensure it was all good. I wonder if i should just delete the library and cmd file, then restart the PC (didn't do that before) and then start the scan again? If you have any ideas on how to diagnose the java thing, that would be super helpful! thanks, PCH A-400 w/ 3TB internal (wired) | W7 PC (wifi) | Airport Extreme | PS3 | Panasonic 65VT50 | Apple TV 3 | iPhone 5 | iPad 4 |

RE: START HERE: How to install YAMJ
Sorry, this is going to be a little bit tedious.
Unless you need other versions of java (most people do not), uninstall ALL versions and reboot. Download and install the latest java 1.7 update 21 64bit ONLY (don't install 32bit). Make sure you have the latest version of YAMJ from here: http://mediaplayersite.com/yamj_latest Delete your jukebox folder (just to make sure there's nothing corrupt in there from the last run) and re-run |

RE: START HERE: How to install YAMJ
That shouldn't be too bad. I'll give that a shot and see if I can't get a more thorough scan, but i did come across another issue preventing me from launching YAMJ on my A400 with the files that DID scan.
I might be confused on what file the A400 is looking for. The guides said to download all the YAMJ folders on my PC's HDD. Inside my "Video" folder, i created another folder called "YAMJ". Inside this is where I put the 3 folders for the YAMJ snapshot, GUI Config and mediainfo directories. I mentioned above that I used the Config Tool (CLI version) to save My_Library.xml & My_YAMJ.cmd to the snapshot folder on my pc hard drive. (guide was unclear about where to save those). The jukebox was supposed to be on the root of my Z drive (A400 internal HDD). The YAMJ app on the A400 was unable to locate any jukebox, even though I could see there was a jukebox folder on Z:\ and could even navigate it and view images of the covers for the movies that didn't time out with the initial scan. Did i do something wrong? I was also unable to navigate further than my PC's "Video" folder to even see the "YAMJ" folder inside it. RE: START HERE: How to install YAMJ
For an A400 you will need to use the Eversion skin to create a flash skin.
