Jukebox HTML Edges
Got a question.

I made my jukebox, pretty much just html table at 100% and 5 by 5 inner table.

Everything is great, movies play, etc etc, BUT:

When I view the html on the TV, the table does not go all the way to the edge of the TV Screen. Is that normal?

I have the html file setup to have 0 margins, but the TV still shows a WHITE border around the webpage.

I found this in media service plugins1.8.pdf:

1. First, design your page using any image editor.
2. Please ensure your background image must be 1280 x 720 pixel.
3. Ensure all the information displayed is within 1100 x 656 pixel area.

Quote:Precautionary measures :
1. Only 1100 x 656 pixel area out of 1280 x 720 pixel width will be
shown. Design however should be done for the entire 1280 x 720
pixel area to complement the Plasma screen.
2. The left and right portion of the 1280 width will be cropped by TV.
3. The width of 1100 is visible area, the others will be in overscan area
and majority will be cropped.
4. The height of 656 is visible area, the differences will be in overscan
area.

I made all my tables like this:

and I have no white borders.

I tried 1095, tried 1200 and still have the white edges. I tried to even remove the table and just have the thumbnails, and still the edges are there.
Perhaps is the TV, but not sure, Im gonna try to put it on a different TV and see what happens. I am running on a Phillips Plasma 50 inch TV. (about 2 years old).

It's not completely english, but I think everybody will understand it.
It's similar like yours but with smaller covers, the PCH background and 2 sample covers. It also shows what you have to do if one page for a character isn't enough.

But the biggest advantage I think is, that there is no scrolling at the page. I hate to do it on TV Big Grin

I hope this helps you and others, who want an easy archive.
Just start it with the archiv.html

I think your problem could be that you don't load a background image with 1280 x 720 pixel in your "body". Take a look at my code and try it for your own page.
