Passin On What Works in DVD Ripping

As many of you reading this will want to know, what works best to catalogue/index your huge DVD collection. I am trying to maintain quality (no compression) and save on storage space for a huge collection of some 1800 DVDS. I decided since the first movie came out on DVD in 1996 (Twister), I only watch the DVD Movie section of the entire disc. I keep the original DVD as a backup in case of errors, crashes, fire, etc..
I use DVDFab which has the ability to rip just the main movie (good to maintain files less than 4-5 GB with no compression) or I can keep the original material on the Disc by using "customize" on the selection screen. Good for Star Trek Next Generation or the Ultimate James Bond Collection. This way all my movies are indexed through Movie Flow which has an awesome selection of movie skins. It looks really awesome and I will forward a link on what it looks like. It's fairly straight forward about how to install and wait till you see what it looks like once operational. Michael has been great about getting back with questions you may have, but be sure to read the forums first to eliminate repeated questions.
