Hard drive swop and copying files over....
Just a quick question. My 500gig drive in the a200 is full. I am awaiting a new 2tb hard drive and a sata caddy to put the 500 gig drive in.
Question is when I have put the 2tb in the a200 and its all formatted, Will the a200 see the data on the 500gig that will be in the external caddy ?? Cheers Paul |

RE: Hard drive swop and copying files over....
If the external caddy has USB2.0....yes..
why not just format the 2GB and stick that in the caddy? PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

The 2TB drive is a seagate green drive with the 5900rpm spin speed so runs a lot cooler and quieter. Hence I want that in the A200 and the 500 gig in the caddy. Plus when the 500gig is in the caddy, I have the option of esata, which makes swopping files with a mate very fast and easy. Cheers Paul |
