KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
Hello,
Just got my C-200 today (moving up from A-110) and suddenly my Kdoske Menu is not working. I got the Music link to work but now the Movies link does not work :-( My movies are on an SMB share MEDIA Musci is on another share MUSIC both mapped back to my pc as such: smb://Ergo/Media/ smb://Ergo/Music/ respectively. Are there new paths I should be using for these? Searched everywhere in these forums and wiki and not much to be found specifically re: Kdoske and C-200 Thank you! RE: KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
Just trying to revive this question. If not KDOSKE, what is out there that's just as good and easy to use or at the least, reliable and works on C-200

RE: KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
I'm using Kdoske on my C200 w/o any problems.
Just make sure you replace any HARD_DISK references in paths to SATA_DISK. I have links to the following setup:- 1. Movie Archive Jukebox 2. TV Jukebox 3. Music Jukebox 4. Browser 5. Sky.FM 6. Local Weather 7. Daily RSS feeds download folder I'll try to help if you provide a bit more info, or I can supply my saved profile for you to amend to suit your setup. If you have a mapped share on your C200 then you should be able to get the path setup automatically via the KDoske GUI. My SMB shares are on my NAS but the paths are:- http://localhost.drives:8883/SATA_DISK/D.../?filter=3 http://localhost.drives:8883/SATA_DISK/J.../index.htm http://localhost.drives:8883/SATA_DISK/TV Jukebox/index.htm http://localhost.drives:8883/SATA_DISK/Music Jukebox/index_main.htm That was my setup when I had the actual jukebox output on folders on the C200 internal HDD. RE: KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
Thanks Chris!!
Well, I used Kdoske successfully for months on the A-110 and I also changed the paths as you said to SATA_DISK. Unfortunately, I use a SHARE for my YAMJ Movie Jukebox (SMB) and I have nothing on local HD on the C200. I have two SMB shares on my PC: smb://Ergo/MEDIA smb://Ergo/MUSIC Then I have Kdoske point one icon to the YAMJ Jukebox (the index.htm file is on the root of that share) and another icon to the Music Jukebox (musicJukebox 8.1) on its own share. I will try it again... maybe I screwed something up when I was trying this last time and perhaps frustrated, I never corrected a mistake I made ... Thank you C-200::40GB SSD+Blu-Ray::24TB SMB::Panasonic TH-42PZ85U Set-Up myiHome, YAMJ & ÆON::LowList Texture Mod |

RE: KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
Sounds very similar to my setup.
I have none of the actual media files on the internal HDD, all I have is a folder called Jukebox inside which is the YAMJ/Aeon output. I also have one called TV Jukebox inside which I have a YAMJ output with Aeon TV settings. A further one called Music Jukebox with the output from Music Jukebox 8 inside. My Kdoske index.htm and icons folder are located in my NAS share where my files are:- SMB://NAS/multimedia The movies, tv, music being in:- SMB://NAS/multimedia/movies SMB://NAS/multimedia/tv SMB://NAS/multimedia/music As the NMT remembers the last accessed share it defaults to SMB://NAS/multimedia and automatically loads Kdoske everytime i reboot. Even when I access the video or download folder on the internal HDD I do it via the Kdoske link so it's always loading. If I want the 'wheel' icons or 'normal' view then I press 'sources'. RE: KDOSKE 3.7 and C-200 NON Working Links
Always looking for little tweaks to make things a bit different I'll have a look, helps me to promote them even if I don't use them myself.
I'll try something on the A-200 when I get my hands on the new case and by then the new UI should be out as well. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
