RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
O.k so I tested the skins today with rev 1004.
In the set-up when I first encountered the problem (9 rows, 4 colums), everything works fine. After changing that to 9 rows and 3 columns, all but the "classic" started to have the cursor-movement problem. I then changed the setup to 30 rows and 2 columns, and that also affected the "classic" skin. My guess is, like you mentioned earlier, that this is really some alignment problem that might not have been tested thoroughly. Also it might be (like the BSOD earlier) affecting the 100 series more/only, but maybe others can check that (nudge @lordy ).BTW the cursor placement after pressing down when on the back button, is indeed (and still, though it didn't act up in my prev version)acting strangely. You mentioned it was going to the third row. I don't think it's the third row, but the first row that starts with a two digit episode number. At least that's the consistent part on my A100. RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
Yep I'm sure.
I, just now, did a fresh install of Oversight (did an update previously), and still both bugs are present:1- the bug where the cursor move to a different rownumber than expected. 2- the bug with the back-icon seeming to be aligned with the first digit of a a 2-digit episode number. BTW It's odd that you can't even select less than 4 columns ![]() Edit on 2: There is definitely some alignment issue. The "back" and 2 digit alignment bug was there with a 9 row 4 column setting. I changed it to 6 rows and 5 columns, and now there's no problem. I uninstalled Oversight through CSI, after that I checked (to be sure ) if the application folder for Oversight was gone and it was. So if there are no other folders to be reckoned with, everything was deleted. So I guess that was o.k. Still it might be a 100 vs 200 series problem. lordy and Sproglet are in possession of both, so maybe they can figure out what's the problem. I've managed to repro the moving down problem - It seems that the alignment on the grid is centred without the episode names present - This throws out the Gaya browser. Don't bother with looking at the skins, I found out the classic is also affected. So, it's probably Gaya (what else is new) being...well Gaya. Nevertheless, it could be a problem (the grid itself) for future enhancements and skins. I've looked into both of these in detail now - I am completely unable to reproduce your jumping to the wrong line bug - The second one is due to the alignment of the options on the screen and how the browser handles the cursor. I can't seem to get the grid contents to align to the left, which is the only thing that will fix this issue. @lordy - Any ideas? RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
Hey lordy,
Well the problem was first stated in #179 and later elaborated on in#184. The issue (at least in my setup) seems to be that certain combinations of settings (poster size, number of rows and number of columns) in de SD Detail View of TV Shows, make the cursor move up one (sometimes more) row(s), when trying to select the next (right) item. Unfortunately this issue does not seem to be able to be reproduced by tiefling, hence the thought it maybe a 100 series problem. Another issue seems to be the inability to get the browser grid align to the left, which makes moving down from the "back" option, move the cursor to the first 2 digit episode number. This problem does not seem to occur (tiefling tested that) when episode titles (and maybe dates)are also shown. So only when you have episode numbers. Maybe both issues are related, as being alignment problems with Gaya, but that's far beyond my skills to judge.

RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
OK What is needed for skin support. I thought I had an idea, but I don't want to overcomplicate things.
Unlike static jukeboxes, there has to be a certain structure imposed on the HTML to support the dynamic features of Oversight. So I don't want to expose more 'guts' to the skin than is necessary. At the same time I know if you need control over navigation, you might need access to the grid html etc. Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

I'll get back to you on the details of this once we've got the stable out the door, as I have some ideas. For starters, see the issues I've logged about the javascript methods for passing through episode titles for detail pages Also expose elements that allow you to configure grid layout and order etc. either by selection or by skin. I'll give this more thoughts and get back to you. Oh - And Processor / Capability Only Fallen Angels can sing this loud!Popcorn Hour C-200 / A-300 Sony DB3500ES Samsung 3D LED 46" iMac 27" |

RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
lordy, do you want me to create an issue on your googlecode page for the aforementioned problems? Or is this something (the first one) that only concerns my setup?

RE: Oversight Jukebox Skins
Someone mentioned it before but I think we need a separate set of grid dimensions for PC view ?
I was reluctant at first, but now I have my TV right, I can't see the control buttons in the PC view. @Cherek , yup please log. @Tiefling, will review skin issues. Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |
