How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
I am lost: how do I pass a password to the postprocessing script of NZBget? The RARs are protected with it.
I am using NZBGet version 0.6.0 on a PCH-A100. I cannot find it in the NZBGet Web Interface - Settings. When I check with nzbget on sourceforge.net I find a page on post-processing parameters, but I do not understand how to put it in a script or otherwise tell NZBget how to handle the RARs. |

RE: How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
How would you expect this to work. The passwords are always different. Did you want nzb to wait and keep the job around, until you enter one? That is not supported at present, as far as I know. (could be wrong)

RE: How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
Perhaps when uploading the NZB from the NZBGet Web Interface: filling in an optional parameter, thus being the password for this NZB, where NZBget passes it as a variable to the postprocessing script. When you upload another NZB, it gets another variable. This will not work when just copying the NZBs (as a file) to the NZBget folder and NZBget downloads it automatically.

RE: How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
You need version 0.7.0 (available in CSI) with default post processing script. You will see an icon with wrench symbol for each nzb-file in web-interface. The icon opens a page with pp-parameters, including the password (see example). If you use oversight or other pp-script, the unrar-password-feature may not work, since other scripts may not support it.

RE: How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
I was wondering about password protected content - I chose not to d/l it because I thought it would be a headache to sort out.
Lordy can the Oversight post script allow users to put a p/w in when an NZB is p/w protected? |

RE: How to pass password to postprocessing script of NZBget?
@ hugbug: O.K., I'll upgrade to version 0.7.0 (I thought this was still a test version, so not for daily use) and give it a try.
I will be very happy when it works! Brilliant! Just click the wrench icon next to the file NZBGet is downloading (edit post-processing parameters) and in the next screen you can fill-in the password for this nzb-file. And it works! Really great, thanks a lot hugbug! |
