RE: New Movie Jukebox: ALAMO! Give it a try!
How can I change the port to some other than 8080? I am getting:
Code: 2010-04-26 17:42:18.544:WARN::FAILED SelectChannelConnector@0.0.0.0:8080: java.net.BindException: Address already in use |

FYI this is what the stock jukebox looks like. Desperately needs a skin!

I'm a big fan of Nono's Kroozbox. Could you , please, point out some pros and cons comparing with Kroozbox 2.0.

I just wanted to take a moment to drop a note that I like the direction your going.. it won't work for me because I don't want a computer on all the time and the devices I could run it with are not graphics interfaces but I do applaud how it works and keep it up.

You can change the port by running:
java -jar alamo.jar -port 8081 from the commandline. (04-26-2010 07:34 PM)JKG Wrote: How can I change the port to some other than 8080? I am getting: |

RE: New Movie Jukebox: ALAMO! Give it a try!
Looks really prommising. It definently needs a skin though.
In the applet you can choose fanart but it doesn't show up on the NMT. Better support for TV shows is also desireable (maybe let the user set 2 paths, one for movies and one for shows). Stargate Universe shows up perfectly but Chuck and Burn notice get split up into seperate movies. maybe a possiblity to delete watched (or unwanted) movies and shows from the NMT (like in Oversight) would be an absolute must for me. (main reason I use Oversight) But there's defenently potential in this. I really like it. |

Basic Yamj nfo-files (i.e. the url to IMDB somewhere in file) does't work. For exaample i have the file Keep.Your.Distance.2005.LiMiTED.DVDRiP.XviD.nfo containing: Code: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337656/The movie Keep.Your.Distance.2005.LiMiTED.DVDRiP.XviD.avi is in the same folder and Alamo shows the movie info of movie Driver's Ed (imdb id tt0469071). |

RE: New Movie Jukebox: ALAMO! Give it a try!
I must say that I really like this program, damn easy to use=)
But I have one problem, Alamo wont scan files stored on any other disk than C: C:\Movies (This works fine) E:\Movies (No Go) E: contains 2*1Tb striped disks on a Win 64 Server 2003 |

You can have a look at the log file in your C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\alamo directory. and see if that contains any hints to what goes wrong |

RE: New Movie Jukebox: ALAMO! Give it a try!
Are boxsets supported (via the .nfo file)
Scanning works fine on a networked drive, for me it scans the Z drive (z:\movies\) Maybe it's case sensitive? |
