Alternative for YAMJ
Hi,

I have been using YAMJ with my PCH-A110 but now I am looking for suitable alternative. I used YAMJ with YANFOE but I don't see that as a good solution because I wan't my jukebox to be easy to handle and it should also support TV-series. I hate my current setup because it requires too much effort (filenaming, box sets, tv-series...) Yeah I am lazy and self-indulgent Smile

So, what I am looking for:
-Easy setup with GUI program in windows
-Supports TV-series and movies
-HD and also SD compatible

Of course it can still be YAMJ but is there a better software than YANFOE to handle nfo's?

What kind of user friendly jukebox systems do you guys use?

RE: Alternative for YAMJ
YAMJ is easy if you have right tools, plus it does support TV Series?

Have you looked at TV Meta Data Finder?
Basically, will rename all your TV shows with a click of the button to what ever you tell it, i.e "Name - S0xE0x - Title".

I dont find my jukebox requires much input at all?

p.s I am also lazy Big Grin

You could also take a look at Ember Media Manager, that does TV shows.

Otherwise, do as Adam1v says, forget about the NFOs and let YAMJ do it's job. It's designed to make things as easy as possible. Sure you sometimes have to do some renaming or add a NFO file, but not to the level that YANFOE or EMM do (in my opinion).

Also take a look at http://tvmetadatafinder.com/

I am using Ember for 2 weeks now as I refuse to name my files a way YAMJ would like to see them to scrap succesfully.
My folders and files are simply named as the movie`s title, nothign else, and in most cases Ember is fine with that.

So in my opinion, Ember is for lazy ones, as I am lazy too :-)

RE: Alternative for YAMJ
I have now tried Ember and it seems to work fine. I think this is the best software for YAMJ infos so far.

Thanks for your suggestions! Smile
