Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I've set the TV mode in PCH to 16:9 as I have a regular widescreen CRT TV. My TV is set to widescreen mode (no fancy zooming/distorting options used, just plain WS).

When I open an MKV file in PCH, the aspect ratio is all wrong, the image is squeezed. After I click the zoom button on the remote control a few times so that the actual zoom-% is shown on the OSD, the aspect ratio is corrected. If the zoom percentage is 100%, I do not need to adjust any settings. If I've used some other zoom percentage, such as 95% I usually use, I have to return zoom to 100% to correct the aspect ratio. This is very irritating as I have to do it every time I play a new file.

It seems to me that ISO files and VIDEO_TS folders have the correct A/R without having to do this trick.
