Wierd Problem with Jukeboxes A200 and A110

Ok Heres my setup first. I have a HP Mediasmart server feeding 18TB worth of movies to 4 Popcorn Hours. I have 3 A200's and one A-110.

On my A110 I cant play any movies from YAMJ (jukebox). I can see the artwork and when I hit play it goes black for a sec and then back to the artwork. When a play a file directly without jukebox it plays fine.

You may say well there is something wrong with you Jukebox but when I bring in one of my other PCH's it plays fine.

Ok so one of my A200's goes bad I send in the MB for repair when I get it back it has the same problem as the A110. It won't play any files from the Jukebox but plays fine from one of my other A200's. This is driving me nuts can anyone help?

I saw issues similar to this at one point.

You might want to try NFS file transfers ... It is the only way to go for the PCH/Linux based products.

And ... double and triple check that you have set up the Jukebox and file reference areas correctly.

I found the NFS more critical for the A110 than the A200. It seems that improvements with the SAMBA transfers has been made with the newer products, but it is still not good enough. Use NFS.

I have a similar setup but use the My Lil Jukebox for the interface. I had some issues similar a long time ago but since changing to NFS transfers and some setup checking things have been solid as a rock for over 2 years. The only catch is that you have to "tickle" the A110 after hard power down or network disconnect by starting a file directly, then can go to the Jukebox interface and all works fine.

Your path is wrong on the units that don't play..

go into the settings, network share and make sure it EXACTLY matches what the other units that do work have.. same path, same name, same capital and lower case letters...
