My Lil Movie Jukebox Won't Play Movies
Hi I need a little help with My Lil Movie Jukebox.
For me to be able to play movies via My Lil Movie Jukebox i have to the share first, and then go back to My Lil Movie Jukebox. when i then haven't visited one of the shares for at time it is the same problem again. i have read that on the A-100 and 110 this is solved with a wrapper. but as far as i can read it does not work on the C-200. Is there a solution for the C-200 ? |

I have seen the same issue if the network connection has been lost, such as during a reset, server reboot, etc. Once you "tickle" the network and do start a file it works fine and does not have the issue again until there is a network disconnect. I use an A110 and have not seen any "fix" for this, but it does not happen very often if you have your network set up correctly and use a reserved of fixed IP address for the PCH and your lease times are good. Just began using with the A200 and have not tested for ... but there might be more issues if the power down and sleep functions are "better". Will let you know as I test. Ok then i must have something set wrong, because it "throws" the connection in a matter of 15-30 minutes (i dont have the exact time)
I do not use ip address but the computername for the path: \\mycomputer\myshare\movies\mymovie.mkv the lease on my network is 7 days. i have set the disks to spin down every 15 minutes. but when i removed this setting it did not make a difference. see this link: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=35444 this wrapper should fix it on the a100/110, but does not work on c-200 http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=32081 on this link it seems there is a solution, but i am not that familiar with linux, so i am not shure how to make it work. can anyone help me ? |

I use NFS for everything now. There are still limitations and problems with Samba and the PCH units. ... There is no way to get full resolution, very high bandwidth BD type streams without NFS on every PCH that I have tested. Not sure this will helop in your case but it is recommended if you know or can figure out how to connect. There are a number of refernce posts. Sry if i borrow the thread.
My popcornhour wont play!!! I have installed my lil movie jukebox on my DNS-313 NAS and when i select source it shows up fine but it wont play the movie. I´m not sure why? I made a network share on my pch and named it "tanker" and on the root of my DNS-313 there is a folder named "movies" . All movies are in a folder itself, ex: tanker/movies/300/300.img Is it the EXPORT that is wrong?? PLEASE HELP, i´m going crazy!!! //Flaxo |

That is, the location variables listed in the Movie Jukebox Export GUI in the Location Variables Tab? Something like: PC = Y:\movies\ (where Y is the drive mapped for your NAS on your PC) NMT = file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/tanker/movies/ Regards, Allan |
