Hi. Does "minidlna" work on a A300?

I installed it via opkg and nothing gets visible ... I checked with the terminal, there are no files at /share/Apps/minidlna even the directory does not exist.

Should I use llink instead? I am just looking for a unpnp/dlna server, which I can configure to my needs in terms of files, filetypes and structure where to show what.

Or is there a twonky also available for the popcorn hour devices?

The minidlna installed from opkg will be available under /share/Apps/local/bin and not /share/Apps/minidlna.

Will there be an update available fixing the reindexing issue caused by inotify not being in the kernel? Or should I try mediatomb instead?

I am wondering if this MiniDLNA doesnt crash all the time when I use DS Audio to play on the C200 compared to the built-in UpnP renderer...

Btw, my PSU of my C200 died 2 days ago, the same error everybody seems to get - blown caps.

Hi,

I have problems with the minidlna installation on HDX1000. I have the same program running on my laptop and thats ok, I am familiar with the configuration file and program but I can't even start the minidlna server.

I have installed opkg via CSI, my web interface is not working too, but it's ok via telnet line command. I just have to manually add the "/usr/local/bin" to the path.

Some one has minidlna running ok?

After, read and re-read all threads about minidlna I have tested run mindlna directly by command line. But, evem removing the file.db and use -R option I can make the movies appear on minidlna server, the log file is just:

I've problems with starting programm...

Starting DLNA/UPnP-AV media server : minidlna/share/Apps/local/etc/init.d/30minidlna.sh: line 67: start-stop-daemon: command not found
failed!

what can I do!? start-stop-deamon is installed...is there a problem because Transmission also has a start-stop-deamon installed!?
EDIT: someone could have said I need busybox after istalling works fine!

Someone knows where can I find a (cross-)compiler to A110?

I have thinking about compile the mindlna and install like a CSI app, because it is not working as opkg package and MediaThumb does not satisfy me. I used both DLNA server on my laptop and only minidlna works fine with my Samsung TV.

My toolchain was hosted in a Solaris box got corrupted. Need to install everything from scratch. So, it may take some time to fix it. I'll give it a try in my Linux box, and release it soon.
