RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
I have a PCH A200 and a Samsung (D8000) tv: is it possible to run minidlna with this set up?
I installed minidlna 1.0.25 with OPKG but that's as far as I get. Should it then work right away, or do I need to make adjustments?
thanks guys

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
You need to set path for media files. Search for config file minidlna.conf in share folder....after that reboot pch.

Since 2 days i get error message upnphttp.c:1112: warn: HTTP Connection closed unexpectedly
I only changed hdd from ext3 into ntfs....any ideas why?

Great, I'll give it a try.

I also saw that you're trying to get mediathomb up and running on your system, how did that work out for you so far?

Does miniDLNA present album art embedded into audio files toward the clients and control points?

Was up and running but I wasn't able to see files on TV....so I got back to minidlna and formated the USB stick....so nothing on it!
Installed minidlna like first time and now I can't see files on TV like before with mediatomb....

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
I have minidlna installed and running on my pch a-110.

However, I am having a problem getting it to index my files. I did configure the conf file as needed. The service is running but videos aren't being indexed.

Here is my log (i can't really post it because of this poorly programmed forum "You are not allowed to add URLs into your post or thread" BS message):
Code:
Scanning [path to]Music
Scanning [path to]Music finished (0 files)!
Scanning [path to]Video

It gets to a point of starting to index the files and then nothing else seems to happen. I have a 1tb drive in my pch of mostly videos so I thought, well maybe it's just going to take too long. So I changed the config file to only look at one video directory in particular which has 13 AVI files at about 180 mb each. I get the same result. If I edit the config to only look at a photo directory, it works fine and the photos are indexed.

It looks like another user had the issue in post 54, but I didn't see any responses for it.

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
I don't know why it was not indexing the videos. Probably something with fileformat of the movies the minidlna is indexing?. You are not able to find anything in the log file?

No, the log basically stops after it says that is is scanning the video directory. The files in the directory I am trying to scan are just avi files which should be 'simple' enough for it. Any chance this isn't working right because opkg web isn't working right either? I had to install from command line.

I think I have logging turned on good for the scanning:
log_level=general,artwork,database,inotify,metadata,http,ssdp,tivo=warn,scanner=debug

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
Does anyone out there have minidlna working on a pch a-110?

I can't get it to successfully index any video files. Log just says:
scanner.c:731: warn: Scanning [file path]

There is never a scan complete message in the log.

Nothing works: AVI, MKV, MPG

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
The following is the command line to start minidlna in debug mode: try it by stopping the existing minidlna service and find the detailed info about the issue.

Code:
# /share/Apps/local/etc/init.d/30minidlna.sh stop
# /share/Apps/local/sbin/minidlna -R -d -f /share/Apps/local/etc/minidlna/minidlna.conf

Is there a mirror to k0liber's minidlna-daemon.zip? The link seems to be down just as most CSI packages Sad

RE: MiniDLNA v1.0.25
Hello everyone,

I have a PCH-C300 and I want to read from a Samsung SMART TV video of my C300.
I installed MINIDLNA V1.0.25, during installation (via OPKG) everything works fine once the video indexing performed.
Then, if a video is added or deleted from the directory origin indexing is never updated, or automatically, or the stop-restart popcorn.
How can I do, do you have a tip or idea?

Thank you very much for your help

Regards
