ISO files do not always work / blank screen with S-Video
Two problems.
1) ISO files rarely work. They're on the hard drive and sometimes play. However say I unplug the PCH and then plug it back in again later the files do not play (although they did work at one time). This is a bug. 2) Blank screen with S-Video setup. I'm sure this must be somewhere on the site but all I could find was info on HDMI and Component. I am trying to run S-Video. What keystrokes can I use to force it into this? |

Thanks for the link but the key commands don't work for me all the time. What I had to do was the time the machine does boot up and I can see the display I manually go into the settings and change it to Auto detect. That page still doesn't explain inconsistency with playing .ISO files though.

What screen resolution did you set in video settings screen?

I have a Sony KV-36XBR400 TV. I am connected by component cable and I think the setting can be Component 1080i60 (TV Type 16:10). I get black letterbox bars. When I let it autodetect it must set things at a lower resolution because it fills the entire screen. I use S-Video when I hook PCH up to a projector.
Still no comments on the ISO issue? |

I would use 720p NTSC and activate frameratesync for that.
your ISO's are DVD only and stripped from copyprotection? Be aware that ISO management cost system resource capacity.... please consider MKV playback. MakeMKV application converts DVD mounted ISO's in about 5 minutes... Did you try it with auto frame sync off?
After that just set it on again and it will be ok again. I have this issue too sometimes, mostly after a firmware upgrade. C-200 + Samsung LE37S81 +SONY STR-DB 870 QS Dutch manual: download it here. |
