music from NAS?issue

Issue with streaming music from NAS all artwork/html/menus have generated ok can browse all menus but when i select the track it does not play? any help welcome

First, I assume the \\PCH-200|share\Music\Menu\ is a type, it should be \\PCH-200\share\Music\Menu\.
The PCH Path to Music doesn't look right. I think you have a share on your IOMEGA-090704 named 'music'. You need to create a network share on your Popcorn Hour that points to this and assign a name to this share (use 'Music'). Then your PCH Path will be NETWORK_SHARE/Music. Notice I have switched the back-slashes to forward slashes (Windows vs Linux thing).

I've browsed to the folder on the NAS and selected the music folder and created the share via the PCH Network Share but still no joy?

Make sure Music Folder (\\IOMEGA-090704\music\) and PCH Path to Music (NETWORK_SHARE/music) point to same folder. When you select the share icon on your Popcorn Hour, do you see EXACTLY the same folders that you see when you view folder \\IOMEGA-090704\music on your PC?
If you select a music file when browsing to your music share on the Popcorn Hour, does it play (not through your MJB menu)?
Also, make sure the share name on your Popcorn Hour is 'music', not 'Music'.

All the network shares are correct and yes if i browse to the music folder via the PCH menu i can play the music no problem but when i go via the MJB the tracks don't play so im at a loss??

Each album is saved in your menu folder as a.xml file named [Artist Name] [Album Name].xml. Within this file is a section named "songs".
Can you post the "file" entry for one of the songs. I would like to see what is being calculated as the link to the song...

I think i know what your after its creating a link to the music location <pchpathtomusic>NETWORK_SHARE/Music</pchpathtomusic>

it should read <pchpathtomusic>NETWORK_SHARE/music</pchpathtomusic>

any ideas as to why its doing this??

Just tried renaming the music folder to Music no joy so tried to create a new share on the drive called Music but the unit clearly does not like uppercase must be something to do with the software built into the unit.

Turn on Delete All HTML option on the main screen of MJB, then click Generate HTML. This will delete all existing XML and HTML files and rebuild from 'scratch'. If you had the share as 'Music', then changed it to 'music' without turning on the Delete All option, the change would only show up on albums you add to your library, not the ones already indexed...
