Skype on poppy with SkypeKit
I'm a complete rookie but the idea of a video chat on your TV in the living room is rather compelling.
I just read that Skype released SkypeKit which should enable devices like Popcorn Hour to run Skype.
Does anyone know whether there is someone working on such a solution?

RE: Skype on poppy with SkypeKit
Hi,

No one interested??

I'd like to have that too. New TVs have integrated Skype, but until we all buy a new TV, what's the solution with our NMT?

And if not possible, anyone knows of an alternative to get Skype on a TV?

Thanks.

RE: Skype on poppy with SkypeKit
SkypeKit is a development Tool Set that might also be usable for a NMT................ if someone would successfully build a application is another matter...

PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10
13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB

The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box

RE: Skype on poppy with SkypeKit
I, for one, would love to see someone develop this on a contribution basis. I would pay to avoid having to buy a new screen and we use Skype a lot to keep in touch with far-flung friends and family.
