Who owns this site?
It has always been somewhat cloudy as to who owns / runs this site and what their bias may be.

Is this site owned by Syabas or PCH? Is it independent like MPC Club?

Can someone shed some light?

RE: Who owns this site?
its owned by syabas who owns popcornhour Everyone here is a user but its strictly nmt and 99% popcorn hour owners so most people tend to lean towards popcorn hour. The only actual syabas employs show syabas under there username.

RE: Who owns this site?
So this now makes sense why the cross flash issue has appeared recently

Can Syabas confirm that the latest FW by egreat that has PCH flash was not authorised?

RE: Who owns this site?
This may help explain why you and I are always clashing if you didn't understand that this site is not independant. It is Syabas's forum for their NMT middleware platform.
The moderators are NMT owners, only those with dark blue in their user title are Syabas/PCh employess.

Don't know what you are talking about with regards eGreat? Please tell us more.

Ages ago Istar as a company emailed their customers and gave them instructions on how to flash their Istar NMT's to PCH A110. Have eGreat done something similar and provided flashing instructions.

If anyone is reading this and thinking about asking how to do this DONT. You will be banned permanently from the site.

Anyone cross flashing potentially puts those owners who have paid for licenses at risk.

i posted a link (in which you gave me thanks) for the latest egreat FW for the 31B/34A via the egreatworld.com website

werner took it down

in any case, the latest FW has a PCH flashscreen...so I assumed that PCH must have approved this release to egreat? Can anyone confirm?

That firmware is not posted on the egreat website it was uploaded to an ftp running on the egreat server that gives access to anyone to upload files. I would assume a user took the A100/110 and modified it for a crossflash
