Love to install this baby, but still waiting for my new PSU ...
C-200 connected via HDMI to Onkyo TX-NR609, Harman/Kardon 16BQ and a LG 42LW4500 3D tv. Got my C-200 stuffed with a LG CH08LS10 and internal 16Gb usb stick. External QNAP 219 with 4TB. Running Firmware 03-04-120309-21-POP-408 RC2 Survived 3 dead PSU's

- AAC 5.1 audio does not work for me. I only have one such a movie and it is the free Sintel movie (full download version). I have downmix setting for AAC & WMA Pro in configuration, all other are passtrough. My receiver only supports DTS and Dolby Digital. Already powered down the box.
- MKV with WMV + AC3 audio not playing or freezing looks fixed for me, finally!  - This FLAC issue I reported still isn't fixed First impression: firmware is an improvement for me because of the fixed wmv issue. |

Ummm... I did a stupid test... can I play 1080p MKV's from my Linux host over cat6? tried various bitrate movies and saw peek at 8MB per sec and zero drop outs WTF!
Tried 6 movies. No lags, no break ups on FFWD.. all nice and smooth. There must be a problem here! C-200 1TB WD Green Internal, 1080p Panasonic 46" Plasma. Cat6 Wired, Procurve Layer 2 switched Gigabit, 8TB RAID5 SAS (sata) - Suse Linux 11.4. |

how are you connected to your AVR? HDMI or optical, did you try to set everything to passtrough for testing, take not that this firmware enables also wmv and aac mulktichannel output, so if you set
PCM to Passtrough AAC to Passtrough WMV to Passtrough DTS to Passtrough Dolby Digital to Passtrough and you are connected over hdmi then you should get on AAC and WMV Multichannel PCM on your AVR (10-08-2010 06:01 PM)TheBigAristotle Wrote: - AAC 5.1 audio does not work for me. Sadly I have to report major 1080p 50/60hz mode issue with new firmware update.Screen flickers/goes black/has red lines all the time now. Had this problem also with previous updates but not as massive.Again this problem occurs ONLY in 1080p 50/60hz video mode, 24hz and all other resolutions work fine.Have already ruled out my tv and hdmi cable as the cause of the problem.

ok could you try setting the following
HDMI Audio = ON (Just for testing or to off if it is set to ON) PCM to downmix AAC to downmix WMA to downmix about your FLAC issue i posted in your thread (10-08-2010 06:46 PM)TheBigAristotle Wrote: I tried everything on Passtrough, same result. My Kettle has stopped working. Must be the new firmware. I demand a fix right now!!

no as i said that is a bugfix release and not a nmj release, nmj release is planned for late october or maybe november

Unless your AVR can decode WMA/AAC that has been bitstreamed then you will never get 5.1 audio that has been decoded by the player and sent via optical as optical can only support stereo PCM. Samsung PS50P96FD Plasma (ISF Calibrated), Sony BDP-S550, SkyHD, HDMI 4x2 Matrix, Synology 1511+ with DX510 25TB NAS, Onkyo 605 receiver, Kef Q Series speakers QED cables.
