[AUDIO] HD 5.1 files with MPD
Hello,
In order to play music on my A110, I use Music Player Daemon. I have several 5.1 recording. I encoded them myself using this method : I create DTS-WAV (with "Surcode") or AC3-WAV files (with "HeadAC3he"). Then I convert these files in FLAC. When I play these files, MPD decodes FLAC files and send a DTS-WAV or AC3-WAV stream which is decoded by my AV receiver (DENON 3808). It works perfectly and I can play these 5.1 files exactly as I would play regular FLAC files. However, using this method, I can only play 44 KHz 5.1 files (as a matter of fact, I succeeded to create 48 KHz AC3-WAV files, but for an unknown reason, my AV receiver play them too slow (wrong pitch)). So, here is my question : How I could use MPD with 48KHz 5.1 files, or even better, 96KHz 5.1 files????? |
