Hello.
After installing the latest FW, we can watch IP TV broadcasting our ISP provider in UDP multicast. But our joy was premature. We can not watch channels with multi-language support. It is not possible to switch audio streams by pressing the [Audio] button on the remote control.
This happens if the player is playing M2TS container containing mpeg2 video stream and multiple audio streams mpeg1. The most interesting thing is that after a brief playing of the file containing the stream in avi container containing a video stream mpeg4 and mpeg1 audio stream, the player normally switch audio streams by pressing the [Audio] button when playing M2TS container containing mpeg2 video stream and multiple audio streams mpeg1. This is a wonderful player behavior continues as long as it will not show the image from a file in a PNG format or JPEG format.
Syabas, please help the Russian people to watch TV channel Euronews in their native language!

This is my first time on the forum. I have install the latest C200 fw a few minutes after it was released (with NMJ). Everything works perfectly exept this.On the setup page, audio setup, the option DTSMA & Dolby TrueHD to Analogue or PCM has desapeared. Does anyone knows WHY?

RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101104-21-POP-408 unstable network
As I wrote before after updating my C-200 with the October 2010 firmware my C-200 became totally unstable. I reported my findings using three test files, a Barbie DVD iso, a Fringe avi file and e U2 mp3 file, all three on my Windows 2008R2 server.

With the October 2010 firmware network performance was low, my Barbie DVD iso stopped after 10 seconds, then menu background wasn't visible, and there was no sound. My U2 mp3 had no sound, stopped without playing further and went back to the menu. My Fringe avi stopped an returned me back to the disk file menu while I was in the network menu.
I did a reset to factory settings, entered my shares and settings again, but had the same result. I switched off the C-200, waited 5 minutes, and then tried again. Same results again.

Then I installed the August 2010 firmware. Same here, network performance was low, Barbie iso stopped after 10 seconds, DVD menu unstable, no sound, U2 mp3 had no sound, stopped without playing further, Fringe avi no sound, stopped an returned me back to the menu. Again I did a reset to factory settings, and I switched off the C-200 for 5 minutes, but the same result.

Then I installed the May 2010 firmware. Everything worked fine again without reset to factory or switching on and off. So Barbie, U2 and Fringe all played perfectly again.

The next day however I noticed that during startup my C200 screen flashed purple, like it always does when something crashes. My C200 kept crashing a few times an hour. So the downgrade to the May 2010 firmware did not solve the stability problem.

So then I downloaded the latest firmware from the wiki to USB, installed that. Then I did an update over the internet which reinstalled the latest firmware of this topic.

Now my C200 does play some older avi's over the network without a problem and with sound. However when I play a DVD or a HD mkv file over the network the sound and video is disturbed, and after a few minutes the video stops and the C200 seems to reboot.

If I then put the same DVD and mkv file on the internal harddisk of my C200 they both play fine. I also checked a Harry Potter DVD, from the network the C200 crashes and reboots, from the internal harddisk it plays fine.

I tried switching the network from automatic (which should be gigabit) to 10/100 MB and back, cold booted the C200 every time but no improvement. My network media Jukebox does hardly anything anymore over the network.

So then there are two possibilities.
1 My network card is broken and I should return the C200
2 The firmware has buggy networking functionality

Because I could play DVD's over the network with the earlier firmware I presumed it's a firmware problem. However not enough people complain here so then it seems to me it's a hardware problem.

My conclusion is that I'm going to send the C200 back to where I bought it.

If people have other suggestions please let me know.

Thnks for replying. However I already did test my C200 on 10/100 mbit mode, but this did not improve or solve the situation.

This is my first ever post.
Just upgraded fw. All my films are iso rips. Hdmi sound via onkyo 900 series amp won't work says no input. Video through Ok.
Coax works for sound but this does not have full format for all sounds
Anyone else seen this or any suggestions or solutions.

Just set everything to Passthrough if you have and HD audio capable receiver (Over HDMI ofcourse)

Have you set everything to Passthrough in the C200 setup menu?
Also set HDMI audio to ON
Also doublecheck your settings of the AVR.

Hope it helps

I had set all to passthrough with HDMI on with PCH C200 and the Amp was set to recieve HDMI but it claims no Audio recived via HDMI
Just a bit odd as worked previously and I wondered if a setting had changed etc or if it was a FW issue

There are still some HDMI issues to be resolved.
Try the following.
Reboot the C200 with TV and AVR ON.
Then powercycle the AVR and play something from the C200.
Or power the AVR to ON when TV and C200 are fully booted up.

Hi Tom! Thanks for the reply. My receiver is a Denon 2807 HDMI 1.1(no HD Audio) so I can't get the DTS MA in PCM as I did with the previous fw. When I set to Passthrough I get only the DTS core.

found following issues, some I believe were already reported:
1. Sound is lost when FF-ing and resuming the playback on certain avi files. Here is a media info of such file:

2. Buffering/downloading of selected video on Youtube is very slow in comparison to PC. I have a fast line 10Mbps download (1M upload), but it take ages to download a complete file. I was testing this on trailers and some random videos for Youtube. Haven't tried this with previous FWs.

3. Reported this already, but would like to mentioned it again: happens now and then that PCH won't wake up completely from standby when NJM is active/on. Let me explain "completely": when I wake up the PCH the PCH's LCD comes up and the "no signal" message from my LG LCD TV disappears, but I don't see a picture (of njm) on TV. BanditRider suggested changing the input source on the tv and then change it back to the PCH and see if the HDMI re-syncs. I can report that in such case the HDMI sync is successful I can can see the picture in TV.

RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101104-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (10.11.2010)
Hi all, since changing to this firmware i can no longer copy more than one item at a time from any drives which are formatted mac os extended. ie if I try to copy a group of files, or a folder containing multiple files, only the first file in the list is copied, then an alert message appears with "Invalid Source". The files also remain in the file list. The first file copies correctly, but no more after that. It also seems quite dangerous - after a couple of failed attempts my 2TB drive is no longer useable !

Trying exactly the same thing with FAT32 or ext3 formatted drives works perfectly- all files get copied as expected.

Is this a bug or am I missing something or doing something wrong ?

Thanks

I just upgraded and the C200 is now a great bit of kit.
I have two questions.
1. With all my files on a Qnap Nas drive and a jukebox set up on it. If I purchase a 2nd device like an A200 would this simply be able to access directly the same jukebox on my Qnap?
2. The C200 still does not auto swith my Panasonic TV to the correct HDMI input when powered up as my Skybox and DVD player does. Is this correct and if so is there any intention to introduce this in the future?

Thanks for all the hard work put into making the C200 a wonderful product and thanks to everyone for the help this forum provides.

Hi Tom! Thanks for the reply. My receiver is a Denon 2807 HDMI 1.1(no HD Audio) so I can't get the DTS MA in PCM as I did with the previous fw. When I set to Passthrough I get only the DTS core.

From what I understand is that there is no way to really tell if it is DTS-core or PCM.
I asked other beta-testers about this and They say that the C200 does not and did not have/had a licsense to output PCM from DTS-MA.
It is done by the AVR, so maybe there is a wrong setting somewhere in your AVR.
The HDMI driver has changed a lot, so it could be that the EDID is now being 'correctly' read by the AVR and adjust its output accordingly.

Walk through your AVR settings and see if there is anything there.

Cheers
Tom
