Not all Seagates are loud
or hot.
I've got a 7 y/o 250 GB Seagate in my PCH which is only audible when the drive spins up; most of the time I don't hear it and a laying on of hands reveals the NMT to be barely above ambient temp. As is always the case, YMMV. |
