[Apps] opkg A100/A110 - Updated 21st Sep

Looks very cool. Thank you for your hard work! Will have to get this installed on my A-110 shortly.

New version released, sorry for the frequent release, but this may be the last version of ipkg binary alone and the rest will be updated/added via packages.

The webui has been removed in this version and added as a separate ipkg from 'Web UI' Section. Once installed, you can install the latest Ajax GUI from command line or gaya (from a110) or from web.

The link to access from web for old GUI is http://youra110ip:9999/local_web
The new GUI will be accessed from http://youra110ip:9999/ipkg_web

Packages are wrong in http://sourceforge.net/projects/a110ipkg/files/

aria2c, busybox etc. are old version on Packages.

after upgrading to nmt5 I can'd update anymore. I got the following error:

/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Apps/local # ipkg update

Downloading http://sourceforge.net/projects/a100ipkg/files/Packages
An error ocurred, return value: 1.
Collected errors:
ipkg_download: ERROR: Command failed with return value 1: `wget --passive-ftp
-q -P /tmp/ipkg-cbbdfe http://sourceforge.net/projects/a100ipkg.../Packages'

Looks it connects but it's unable to download. am I doing anything wrong ?

I tried your suggestion together with a reboot after installation as suggested by Vaidyasr and now it works. Thanks to both ...

Sorry for the typo in the repository. I'll fix it on next version by Monday.

There was a typo in the ipkg.conf file in the current release. The same has been changed in the current release. Those who already installed the -nmt5, needs to be reinstalled to get the updated repository in the ipkg.conf file.

I still don't seem to be getting irssi to work with the latest version.

irssi installation with

does what it is supposed to do,
that seems ok too.

just the latest step keeps failing:

Can't initialize screen handling, quitting.
You can still use the dummy mode with -d parameter

Some latest reading suggests it has something to do with terminfo,
it should come with ncurses-base, is this the same one as regular ncurses in this ipkg?

Maybe there is somebody with an A110 who can test this too?
